RE WOOD WHEELS FOR AMERICA. X.3614 X.3895 I send you herewith copy of OY1/F16.9.19 and of OY3/F 16.9.19. in which Mr. Olley presses very strongly for the use of American manufactured wood wheels in that country. I understand that designs for wood wheels for the present axle were prepared before the War, and Mr. Day is endeavouring to trace these in order that we may be ready for the manufacture of these hubs if you decide that it is necessary that they should be used. Will Mr. Olley please send us a set of 5 Houk Rims fitted with 33/5 straight sided tyres suitable for building into wire wheels over here by the Dunlop Co. The tyres might well be the 33/5 Goodyear Cord tyres. BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} attc. copy of OY1/F16.9.19 OY3/F16.9.19 To R.{Sir Henry Royce} cuttings. R.R. 236A.
