- 2 - This is urgent - only Packard, Lincoln and Stutz still use 20" wheels on any models and we know that all are changing to 19" - but we feel that it is not so urgent at the moment as using the D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} C. rim. Our objection to using the exact same tire and rim equipment as R H P II is that the narrow rim ( 3.75 between flanges ) is not going to be standardized in America and is going to be abandoned ( for the 4" rim ) by Dunlop, Limited and that one cannot get supplies of tires which will fit the narrower rim. What we now propose, therefore, is that Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} should test present standard tires on 4" rim, with a view to use on both R H and L H P II. This leaves as a second step, the test of 7.00 x 19 tires on the 4" rim which is what we ultimately want to use in the U. S. COPY B | ||
