SECRET. +327 To SY. from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HP.14.1.35. C. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Idy. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} SpectreCodename for Phantom III - Front End of Frame. Herewith is N. Sch.4337 showing the pressing connecting the spring pots with the frame side channel to assist in resisting the brake torque. The thickness of pressing shown may cause it to be locally flexible, but we think it worth while trying in this gauge, which can be subsequently increased if found necessary. The bosses require adding to the spring pot forging. N.Sch.4337 herewith. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
