The Manager, The Research Dept., ROLLS ROYCE, Ltd. 1305! Ortygia House, Harrow-on-the-Hill. Dear Sir, My mother being a shareholder in your company, I take the liberty of sending you herewith details of an invention which may be of interest to Messrs. Rolls Royce. The invention deals with (amongst other things) the elimination of roll on corners, in connection with which I understand that Messrs. Rolls Royce are at present conducting experiments. I have consulted my patent agent with regard to this device and he reports that, whilst the general idea has been substancially anticipated, protection could be obtained in connection with some "special arrangement or construction."
