8th. June, 1939.

Ferranti Ltd.,
Moston,
Manchester.10.

For the attention of Mr. G.A. Hall.

Dear Sirs,

One of your 128C type car radio sets has failed completely on one of our experimental cars. This was fitted October 1938. On investigation we find that the switch unit has a burnt out contact and we are sending this unit under separate cover, for your examination and comments.

Will you please send a replacement as soon as possible.

How is your single unit set progressing?

We shall be pleased to test one of these as soon as it is ready.

We still received criticisms of the high pitched tone of the sets without tone control. The comments on those fitted with the tone control are very favourable.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
