The specification to which this unit should be built is as follows :- Crankcase with 1.250/1 dynamo drive. Standard Bentley cylinder head 6.4/1 compression ratio. Narrow pin crankshaft EX.14081. Connecting rods EX.16046. Aerolite pistons. 20/25 Camshaft E.59699 adapted to Arrgt. EX.14087, timed as under :- I.O. 4.5°E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.O. 54.6°E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} I.C. 33.6°L. E.C. 1° E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Supercharger mounted on near side as on B-12. Supercharger drive - American gears 4.84/1 to be fitted if they arrive in time; if not fit D.B.S. gears 4.34/1 ratio. Hardy couplings in supercharger drive shaft. Supercharger casing stayed to cyl. head as on B-12. Short induction pipe, sloping downwards from supercharger and water-jacketed as on B-12. Zenith 48 m.m. carburetter. Air silencer to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1778. Modify the end of the supercharger drive shaft to take the rev. counter drive. Clutch & flywheel - existing standard.
