For the attention of F.O.Hickling Esq.

Dear Sirs,

As promised during our visit to you on 25th inst., we send herewith a print of our F.61239, which shews the modifications we made to our steering roller (your B.9871) to enable our previous suppliers to generate the ball tracks. As you will notice, this considerably reduces the width of the ball track, which we would prefer to avoid if possible.

We should be glad if you would let us know the minimum reduction in the width of the track which would enable you to oscillate the grinding wheel, and also whether you require any alteration on the experimental rollers to your B.9828, B.10023, and B.10024 for the same purpose.

Concerning the spring clips for the inner races of the 12 experimental rollers to your B.10023/4, the Adamant Engineering Co. inform us that they sent these to you on 31.12.36. If you are unable to locate these will you please let us know.

The writer wishes to thank you for your kind hospitality to our Mr.Goodall and himself during our visit to you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
