K4094 Exptl. Dept. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}21/KW. 31st December, 1934. Commdr. Matravers, The Adamant Engineering Co.Ltd., Dallow Road, LUTON. Dear Commdr. Matravers, You will recollect that last time we came over to Luton you were going to let us have a steering of the double tooth type for test on the Bentley. I have since heard nothing of this, and shall be glad to know how it is going on. With regard to the new large steering of which you were cutting the hour glass worm and manufacturing the follower, I shall be interested to know how long you think it will be before you can complete the parts which you are to supply. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. OR answered 4/1/35 HSM | ||
