Wey. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Marles type Steering Column. Herewith is N. Sch.4280 showing the slight modifications to the floorboard and dashboard and brackets, needed to pass the Marles type steering column on 'C' steering. 'E' and 'F' will follow shortly. The boss on the cylinder head for the thermometer causes a core plug boss to approach the steering column rather closer than is desirable permanently, and it is understood that after the next engine, the thermometer boss will be removed to the other side of the engine.
