#OIL FLOW TEST.

Engine used - X1-F-3 (Westland Aircraft) after 2 hrs. acceptance test.

The following figures were obtained for the oil flow through the engine at various speeds :-

R.P.M. of crankshaft. Oil flow. gals/min.
1600 3.53
2000 4.45
2250 4.60
2500 5.00

Tests dealing with temperatures and heat flow to oil will be carried out at a later date.
