Contd. -5- EFC3/T18.8.27. Speaking of the 40/50 dynamo, now that we have standardised the N.B. (narrower brush and larger air gap) machine, a corresponding series of brush tests. i.e. with similar grades is in progress, as time and opportunity permit. All of the above tests were as nearly as possible in the same electrical condition (other than the brushes) and were run on the highest bolt-ampere output characteristic likeby to be met with on chassis.
