LOVEJOY SHOCK ABSORBERS.

Referring to the attached note from BJ. in connection with the above. We cannot say definitely whether Lovejoy shock absorbers have been agreed to.
We know however that Springfield have been fitting these to cars for some time.

The sample car which they sent to England for R.{Sir Henry Royce} to examine was fitted with Lovejoy Shock Absorbers at the rear.

Our tests have shewn that the Lovejoy shock absorbers are perhaps the most reliable of the hydraulic type. We have tested them to destruction and the failures were pointed out to Springfield so no doubt they have taken the matter up with the makers.

The new RR. hydraulic shock absorber closely follows the Lovejoy so we cannot very well take exception to the principle.
