RE: PRODUCTION OF ALUMINIUM CASTINGS MORE ECONOMICALLY.

RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} and myself discussed the above matter with Mr. Raby of Birmingham Aluminium Co. We told him we were prepared to modify both the alloy used and the method of moulding, even if it meant a new pattern if real economies could be achieved.

Mr. Raby was not able to make any helpful proposals, the above suggestions were turned down, as he said it was true of any alloy, and he could not offer any positive suggestion for better moulding technique.
