arranged that the high speed section was as straight
and smooth as possible.

This pipe from the blower must, of course,
be so arranged that there is no tendency for petrol
to accumulate in pools under average operating
conditions.

It is also considered desirable that where
it joins on to the gallery pipe it should have
sufficient length of straight between the last bend
and the junction for the mixture to straighten out.
