One of the above links appear to have failed in fatigue: and on the rig you have built, we want to try to reproduce this failure. We have had made 5 links in S/ZN having varying brinell figures. Starting with the links with the highest brinell, we want to run this until it fails. Every half hour the link should be rotated 180°. We want to know how many hours at 950 cycles/min will cause failure. What further tests we require will depend on the result of the first. If failure occurs within 50 hours, we will try tougher links. If failure does not occur in 60 hours, we will try another type of bell crank to hold the link.
