| X262. Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.S/JH. 2nd April, 1936. Mrs. E.R. Hall, 53, Berkeley Court, London, N.W.1. Dear Mrs. Hall, Thank you for your letter. We note that you are procuring a pair of Hartford type 306.M for the rear of the Bentley. With regard to the front shock absorbers, we are going to fit a pair which have done a few miles on one of our cars. We certainly have no objection to fitting a brand new pair of 306.M's to the front of the car, if T.B. Andre are feeling very generous. The length of the arms for both front and rear dampers is 8 inches. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
