Detail dimensions of the crank and W/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} bearings to allow for a diametral clearance between the limit of (.002) and (.0025). Other details not affected by the crankcase modifications in accordance with LOP.EW.1113. Spring Drive. (a) Modification to damping springs in accordance with Lcc.5792. (b) Annular grooves in bronze bushes of the front and rear plate as Phantom III practice. (Drawing required). (c) Crankshaft pinion in S/EHX (unhardened) to Ex.27115. Other than above alterations, parts to LOP.EW.939. Crankshaft. EW.1370. Crankshaft (V.C.N.) having 2 - .125 dia. holes in each crankpin and 2 - .2187 dia. holes in each journal. Other than crank, parts to LOP.EW.913. Connecting Rods. EW.1373. Big End Bearing Bush in A.C.6. material with single hole feed" to connecting rod. EW.1371/E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Connecting Rod and Cap. "Detail dimensions of the crank and the bearing bush to give a diametral clearance between the limits of .00175 and .00225. Nipping of the bushes in the rod to be included as recently adopted on Bentley bearings. Otherwise parts in accordance with LOP.EW.908. continued. | ||
