STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts. SPARE WHEEL FIXING BOLT WITH HANDLE INSTEAD OF HEXAGON.
Origin. To improve design.
Experimental Test Report. We have always used a handle on the bolt for fixing Phantom spare wheels, but on the 20 HP. a hexagon is used which needs a spanner. It is now proposed to use a handle similar to the Phantom.
Road Test Report. Fitted to 10-G-111 car - run 400 miles. Fitted to 11-G-111 car & run 2000 miles.
