HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X7120. E1/M30.1.32. X. 7120 C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} CONTINENTAL P. 2. INDUCTION PIPES. We send herewith print of Lec.2996 shewing the pipes we should like to have. You will notice that we have cut off the back water extensions at each end but have left the ends quite square. We have done this because it is so difficult to make a satisfactory job of the HT. wiring otherwise, and so far as we are aware it is not definitely known that the back-waters are required. We suggest that the experimental steel pipes you have could be sawn off square and tested forthwith to determine this point. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
