running a throttle without any grooves but could not detect any difference, that is to say, this throttle did not suffer from sticking. During the discussion Mr. Willis suggested that the difficulty with the tools might be overcome by using circular saws with spacers, and it was agreed that it would be preferable to overcome difficulties of manufacture rather than attempt a change of design which might lead into unforeseen difficulties.
