The testing of a faulty Harrison ignition coil and the proposal to charge for its replacement.

EFC. has tested out the above coil and at my request has unwound it layer by layer, but was unable to find anything more than what was indicated in his original test on a broken down coil, namely, that the primary circuit seemed perfectly satisfactory and that the failure was due to a breakdown in the secondary.

In view of this therefore we propose that the new coil should be charged A.T.D. in the absence of any evidence to the fact that the material or the workmanship was faulty.
