Re BARKER CONTINENTAL PHANTOM

From the attached reports you will see how the job is going.

We wish you to send the chassis on Feb. 5th complete with
All standard tools.
All the instruments for the board, and the dipper control.

Will you confirm (or By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}) as we have not a patch of instruments on this car, that the controls will be 4.000 from the centre line of the car, and not as on 15-EX.

The floor boards on the chassis should be left long (not cut off at the dash brackets, as instructed) as we find it best to carry them right on to the body side.

A hole should be cut in the chassis side shields for the flex of the Cobra horn to pass through.

No drilling for the step brackets should be made, but a man should be sent down with the chassis who could fit these, if possible.

The holes for the wing-stays may be drilled.

Messrs. Barker should be supplied with the registration number of this car.

The dummy chassis, and any spare wing stays etc., should be left at Barkers for use in connection with the Sports Saloon, which we hope to put in hand immediately.

ENCS.
