We give below some information we have received from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Paris :-

The chief criticisms of the car by Sales was the body work; it was of course impossible for PN.{Mr Northey} to sit in the car. They also complained of not sufficient elbow room.

DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} is satisfied that the Barker's car will be very much better. This will be obtained without altering the outside lines of the body.

Ps. met us at Boulogne and we rode two in the rear seat to Paris. The comfort of the rear seats is not at all bad, except that the passengers have to hold the windscreen in position. We are having an extra stay made, to avoid this, in Paris.

At the moment there appears to be something wrong with the petrol system which prevents the car exceeding 76 MPH. We have a suspicion that this may be due to the Zenith filter. We shall have a chance of proving this better on the way down.

There are several bad rattles in front, of which we have not yet found the cause; the vibration steering columm is bad and something will have to be done to improve this, and we should like you to make a test at Derby.
