Phantom I - Fabric Engine Couplings.
---------------------------------

Although I was inclined to think we had not modified the Phantom I coupling from the type which was failing anywhere between 20,000 and 50,000 miles, I found upon investigating the position that we had already issued to Repair Dept. a new form of coupling fixing using large rivets and cover plate in place of the screws and that these have been used by the Repair Dept. for a couple of months or so.

I mention this to prevent misunderstanding arising as the result of my remark.
