Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thanks for your letter of the 4th inst. The design of hot air pipe I got out for you will not go into the space mentioned. I am, however, having another go at one of the flat types and will let you have a drawing of this.

As regards the fuels, I am sorry there was a hitch in the despatch of these, but they were sent off yesterday and you no doubt have them in your possession by now.

P.S. Re thermostatic device, would you please let me know how long it takes your bonnet temperature to arrive at 45° c. as this is the lowest temperature at which it will start to work.
