WRAITH - CRANKCASE. RE: BEARING CAPS.
The Works would prefer not to have accurate fits on both the overall width of the caps measured transversely to crankshaft axis and the spigot dimension of the studs on the spigotting diameter.
I have given this matter some thought, and am satisfied that we must maintain a close fit between the caps and the crankcase, and if this is done we can afford to make the spigotting portion of the studs in the caps .004 positively clear on diameter with a limit of .001. I think this proposal will be a practical solution.
