Watford sleeveless magneto No 98201.
Electrical tests now carried out on this magneto show that it fails to pass our specification in the following items:-
3) The range is only 50° whereas 55° is the minimum on the engine and we specify 58°.
5) The utility performance is poor sparking only occurring on our leaky gap in the retarded position. The figure of merit is also very low.
