Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge with many thanks receipt of your letter of the 19th instant and in reply thereto would advise that on our 10" and 11" clutches the release lever ratio is 5.5 : 1. This you will appreciate will give you an approximate theoretical pressure plate lift of .079". It is, however, not usual for this figure to be maintained due to the very slight amount of deflection in the clutch cover, but the actual pressure plate lift obtained will we feel sure be sufficient for ensuring clean clutch release.

Trusting the above is the information you desire, we are,

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.

H.T.Barker.
