Y60028. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA. 24th June, 1935. Messrs.Lodge Plugs, Ltd., Rugby. For the attention of Mr.Bernard Hopps. Dear Sir, Replying to your letter of the 21st instant reference BH/EW. regarding Lodge X434/2 sparking plugs we regret to state that as the result of the accident and the subsequent changing about of the engine units we are unable to trace the experimental plugs which were fitted. We do know however that up to the time of the accident these plugs were functioning quite successfully. We are quite agreeable to going on with further tests with a view to examining the suitability of these plugs for the Bentley chassis and we should be glad therefore if you would make up a further set of six for test upon receipt of which we will arrange to fit the same to a car. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
