For the attention of Mr. Hives.

Dear Sirs,

You will recollect that some time ago you discussed with the writer the desirability of fitting a washer type plug to your 3½ litre Bentley car, and we produced Model X434/2. with solid pins and the X434/2S. with Stellited pins, a set of which were sent you on February 11th. last.

We understand these plugs were being tested on Mr. Bentley's car, which met with an accident, but we trust that you were able to continue your tests on the plugs on another car.

The writer has a set of similar plugs fitted to his 3½ litre Bentley, which have now done over 5,000 miles and which have given no trouble, and appear to be suitable for both continuous high speed and slow running.

We should like to know if you are still interested in this plug, and whether there is anything more we can do to assist you to arrive at a decision.

Yours faithfully,

LODGE PLUGS LIMITED.
Bernard Hopps
DIRECTOR.
