8006. To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/JH.24.1.40. 3.B.50. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} wants to try this car on a run to Gloucester on Wednesday 31st. instant. (To be at D.B.H. 8 a.m. Wed.) I have told him there are several features on the car which are open for criticism. Will you please remove any pieces which are liable to make the car unreliable and go over the suspension and engine mounting etc. to make it a reasonable automobile. I should like Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to try the Duplex Stromberg if you can get an air silencer fitted. I don't think the front dampers are functioning properly, because the steering nibbles. If possible, I should like the standard production speedometer fitting with the usual error. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
