Scheme for allowing flexibility in servo operation has been standardised. On those cars where no flexibility device is fitted the halos are re-bedded. Starter Motor Failures. W. - W. 15. N. 5. N. 13. Information has been circularised at different times dealing with the various methods of overcoming the trouble. Steering Joggles and Wobbles. W. 4. W. 17. N. 4. N. 12. P. - P. 1. Total: 38. Last Qtr's. Total: 28. We are successfully dealing with the low speed wobble by fitting the spring loaded cross steering tube. High speed wobbles are practically non-existent. The latest worm and nut has considerably improved joggles and we are introducing it on replacement for old cars. Springs Front Broken. W. 34. W. - N. - N. 3. P. - P. - Total: 37. Last Qtr's. Total: 25. Pre-IndiaIndia type cars chiefly affected. The stiffer springs as used on IndiaIndia chassis are fitted whenever spring trouble arises.
