PEREGRINE II. CHASSIS.

MODIFICATION TO TOP BALL PADS IN ANCHORAGE BRACKET, TO R.R. SCHEME 394.

ANCHORAGE FOR FRONT AXLE CONTROL SEC: 7161.
FRONT SHOCK DAMPER SEC: 7160.

In accordance with Mr.Hancock's report from France, dated 1.12.32, please receive herewith two Blue Prints of each of the following parts together with an extra print of parts marked @, detailed to overcome the difficulties mentioned therein,-

SEC:7161.-
@ F.100753 Anchorage Bracket RH.{R. Hollingworth} 1 off, replacing F100615.
@ F.100754 LH.{Mr Haworth} 1 off, replacing F100616.
@ F.100755 Adjustable Ball Pad RH.{R. Hollingworth} 1 off, replacing F100479.
@ F.100756 LH.{Mr Haworth} 1 off, replacing F100479.
F.100757 Ball Pin (Lever). 2 off, replacing F100483.
F.100758 Retaining Piece for Spring. 2 off, replacing F100475.
@ F.100759 Spring for Ball Joint. 2 off, replacing F100473.
@ F.100760 Ball Pad (Spring Loaded). 2 off, replacing F100470.

SEC:7160.-
F.100764 Chamfered Washer. 4 off, ADDITIONAL.

These are to be fitted behind the Bolt Heads in the Frame to give extra stiffness. The Bolt has been lengthened by Altn: 14043/F.{Mr Friese} to accommodate for fitting of Chamfered Washer.

Please instruct the above parts together with the following existing parts.-

F.81485 Spherical Headed Bolt (SHORT). 4 off, replacing F100461.
F.21437 Nut ( ). 4 off, replacing F.{Mr Friese} 9226.
G.79268 Plug for Adjusting Screw. 2 off, replacing E.82184.
G.75357 Lock Nut for Adjusting Screw. 2 off, replacing G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 643.

Kindly produce and fit to Expl: Chassis, as soon as possible.

We also attach two Blue Prints of RR.Scheme 394.

Also please note that we have shewn the Luvax System of Lubrication and that we require a Z.E.3. fitted to top of Anchor Bracket as shewn on RR.Scheme 394.
