RE ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTS.

We are sending into the Stores for dispatch to the Weston Electrical Instrument Co., Audrey House, Ely Place, Holborn E.C., one direct reading Weston milli-voltmeter together with 1.5 and 15 ampere shunt box, also 150 ampere and 600 ampere shunts, also one volt box. Will you kindly see that these instruments are carefully packed and dispatched to the Western firm for adjustment and standardisation.

Will the O.O. please write to the Weston Electrical Instrument Co., and state that we are sending one of their direct reading milli-voltmeters, together with a complete set of shunts and volt box, and that we wish these to be carefully gone over so that we can on return of these, use the whole set of instrument shunts and voltbox, as our standard set of reference for electrical purposes. It should be stated that the box containing the 1.5 and the 15 ampere shunts is just as previously received from the makers, and has not yet been adjusted to the instrument, but that we have made use of this to give reasonably accurate readings by using some home-made resistances in series with the instrument.
