Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.4/HP.1.6.32. re Japan III Wiring. With regard to the flexible armoured tube conveying the conductors from the switchbox to the dash on our general wiring chassis schemes. This performs the function of preventing the wires from being interfered with by anybody wishing to drive the chassis away although the switchbox may be locked up, and also serves as a means of earthing the switchbox. These points need consideration in any new scheme of wiring. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
