which we made up some of the first tank units here,
cracks were traced in the tubing, but we thought that
we had eliminated all the tubing which showed any cracks.
However, it is conceivable that a crack may have opened
up afterwards, although the specification for this tubing
is "Solid drawn", and no cracks should occur.

We are now quite sure of our source of supply,
and it will never recur, but the very unusual point which
you raise at this time, suggests as a conceivable possibility
that the soldering of the tube may have opened up a crack
which was not visible.

We naturally wish to do everything we can to get
to the bottom of this trouble at the earliest possible moment,
and we should be much obliged for your assistance with regard
to tracing it, either to a faulty tank unit, faulty air line
or installation, or a faulty dash unit.

Assuring you at all times of our best attention,

We remain, dear Sirs,
Yours faithfully,

H.M.HOBSON,Ltd.,
Director.
