Our fan construction, though reliable,
appears to me to be somewhat costly.

I think we should study the methods of
construction of up-to-date American fans and base the
rationalised fan on their practice.

I know we have had failures in the past
when we have tried to cheapen the fan construction but
this should not prevent us from making further efforts.
