Dear Sirs, The writer wishes to confirm his telephone conversation with Mr. Martindale of yesterday afternoon, when the question of Ferodo Strips was discussed. We enclose a copy of the quotation which refers particularly to your sizes. No doubt Mr. Martindale will recollect that Mr. Woodhead gave him figures wherein we stated we had calculated a matter of 4/1½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} for Interleaf for the Bentley type of spring. Actually it would appear that we can now give you a definite figure with the aid of Messrs. Ferodo, for a higher grade of material of 4/4d. per spring. In other words, a matter of a few coppers more than was our original estimate. It is also to be borne in mind that this price includes reinforced third interleaf. We understand from Mr. Martindale that for the time being you have interleaving for the 2" wide Springs, and that you are, therefore, able to experiment with the springs which we have sent in, in collaboration with this Interleaving.
