To Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} A / 1181 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}2/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.10.37. BENTLEY BRAKE LININGS. At the chassis conference on Tuesday 12.10.37 it was decided that 12 sets of B.Z brake linings should be sent to K to fit in complaint cases. The numbers are as follows - GB.2715 - 48 pieces. GB.2716 - 48 pieces. GB.2717 - 48 pieces. GB.2718 - 96 pieces. GB.2719 - 48 pieces. It is necessary to fit to each of the cars relined with B.Z a pair of 25/30 H.P. 35° cams, as when the B.Z lining has been in service some time the coefficient of friction falls off. It is necessary to see that every car fitted with 35° cams has anti-judder weights. Will you please order the necessary material and despatch it to K.{Mr Kilner} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
