Messrs Ferodo Ltd.,
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH

For the attention of Mr.Longley.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your telephone call of this morning.

The F.Z. linings in question arefor Phantom III. We wish to change to M.L. on this car because we are disatisfied with the behaviour of F.Z. as regards squeaks. We also wish to increase the amount of front braking on this car and this we can do if we change to M.L.

We do not regard F.Z. as a good lining but since you have already drilled the supplies we have ordered we fear we will have to fit it to the next 50 cars.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
