Capt. S.B. Wilks,
The Rover Company Ltd.,
Coventry.

Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of the 27th June.

Herewith is all the information I can collect from our people with regard to the Bijur tube. I am sending a sample piece of tube under separate cover for your inspection. I expect the price that we pay for our tube is very heavy.

Regarding Jackson's letter attached, I should like to know whether it is possible to confirm delivery of this car now. I like the dual grey finish, a sample of which he enclosed and shall be glad if you will finish the car in this manner.

I do not know whether you can produce any variations in the suspension without upsetting your standard, but the car is for my mother, who is over 70, and therefore anything you can do with regard to the upholstery or road springs to give a soft ride will make the product the more acceptable.

I have not yet had an opportunity of trying my car since it came back from the Works, but should like to thank you for what you have done to it.

Yours sincerely,
