We have a complaint of a rattle from the servo on the 20 HP. cars fitted with 4-wheel brakes. The rattle is cured by a slight amount of damping. For instance, if the brake pedal is pressed a little so that the servo is just engaged, this is sufficient to overcome the noise. We are carrying out investigations in order to be able to supply more information as regards this rattle but from our experience so far it is likely to occur on any 20 HP. car fitted with 4-wheel brakes.
