JAPAN 1. SECOND HALF 'T' SERIES. PROBABLY 200 CARS. 8570- It is absolutely necessary to wait for this instead of China 4. - i.e. first half of 'T' series, because of - (a) appearance, (b) performance. (a)... (1) 5" deeper radiator. (2) 3" longer bonnet for existing bodies, no change in frame. (3) Universal dashboard. (4) Floor lowered by .750" if hypoid axle is used. (b)... (1) We are trying to get synchro-mesh and helical 3rd. into the gearbox with little alterations. (2) Engine will have 15% improved torque and max: power. Of the chassis 95% will be existing parts, and can be ordered at once - i.e. frames, crankshafts, crankchambers, cyl. blocks, (the cyl. head BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has,) front axles, back axles, flywheel, clutch, road springs, steering, ignition, dynamo, and starter, valves, valve springs, tappets, rockers, brakes (with swivelling tip), etc. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. is delayed for improvements in manufacturing possibilities.
