X5010. C.O. C. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. DHC. RECEIVED 1931 OCT 8 H BY.12/G.1.10.31. Now that R.{Sir Henry Royce} has decided in favour of the 8 weight, 6 unit balance scheme, the three crankshafts for the 20/25 HP. to piece No. E.56885 should now go ahead as Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will want these for experimental purposes. We would like Mr. Elliott to inform us whether the balance weight scheme with dowels as shown on LeC. 2952 which comprises the above, is still correct from a design point of view. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
