VE 3 TELEPHONE : HYTHE 201 TELEGRAMS : POWER, HYTHE, HANTS. THE BRITISH POWER BOAT COMPANY, LTD. HYTHE, Nr. SOUTHAMPTON. GSS/PG. 860 Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. 13th March 1941. Dear Sirs, I have been away for a few days and I am sorry I was unable to attend the gunnery trials with the 40 mm. gun. I understand that this is to be fitted to a lorry and that Brigadier General Reavell Smith is taking an interest in the project and that it will be possible for me to see the gun here at Hythe in the near future. If this is the case I will not come to Derby, but if there is no other way of examining the gun I will pay you a visit at any time which may be convenient to yourselves. Yours faithfully, For THE BRITISH POWER BOAT CO. LTD. G.S. Selman. Naval Architect. | ||
