CARBURETTERS & INDUCTION PIPES. X.7080 X.5080

Should the new RR. vertical expanding carburetter be a long time in materialising, or fail to come up to our hopes, we must have some alternative policy to fall back on for EAC.10, and India 3.

This alternative as I see it would be the over-fed slot pipe with our present pattern of carburetter (made the opposite hand for EAC.10) and exhaust heated jacket.

It seems to me therefore that we should finish and test the over-fed slot pipe with our present carburetter on the Phantom, and determine experimentally if it, or the present, can be done without the valve in the exhaust.

In the meantime we shall be bringing along the new carburetter.
