(4) Accessory Fuses. We have recently had a narrow escape from fire on the green Bentley due to the stop lamp partially short-circuiting and passing a discharge current of 15 amperes which overheats the cable. This suggests that the two last fuses No.7 and 8 should be arranged one with a 10 ampere fuse and the other with a 30 ampere fuse and definitely labelled on the diagram to ensure that body lights, stop lamp, screen wipers and direction indicators are taken from the 10 ampere fuse only and cigar lighters, heaters etc., from the 30 ampere fuse. The 30 ampere fuse would have to be connected with 110/36 cable to the battery side of the ammeter DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}245 shews all the accessories including cigar lighters passing their current through the ammeter.
