Dear Sirs,

Chassis GYL-62.

Since the return of my Car from your Works on the 24th. ult., I have had several trips of moderately long and short journeys. I am very pleased to state that the trouble of rattle from the Shock Absorbers seems to have been overcome, and the car runs with greater silence in consequence.
I sincerely hope there may be no return of the noise with continued use.

I much appreciate the successful efforts you have made to conquer the defect, and thank you for the pleasant manner in which all negotiations in the matter have been conducted.

There is a point in connection with the charge and discharge of the battery, about which my chauffeur would be glad for information, and when your Inspecting Officer is in the district, perhaps he will kindly give me a call.

There is, however, no urgency for the moment.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd) S.W. Pilling.
