44013 To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}20/KW.19.3.35. Bentley Stabilising Bumper Bars. We have heard from E.W.P. of the Paris showrooms that a case has occurred of the 0.375 nut which secures the Bob weights and the chromium plated bar to the two spring leaves working loose. E.W.P. suggests, and we agree, that this nut should be castellated and split-pinned. Will you please arrange for this modification to be carried out, on future and present cars: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.J.Hardy. | ||
