Re Valve Wedges for P.III to LeC.5495. ✓

We have tested two of these valve wedges on our rig and so far as we could tell they were quite efficient, we cannot tell on the rig however what effect suction may have.

We have tested the felt pellets and their effect on oil consumption, and find that the use of these is quite as effective, i.e. no increase in consumption when fitted.

As the use of felt pellets can be adapted to the present cars in service, and would be so much cheaper we recommend using these to the new valve wedges.
